Marcela Ruete
Portrait series of Marcela Ruete, photographed by Manuel Suárez at the Mansión del Río hotel in Guayaquil, Ecuador, in March 2017. The seven photographs, all horizontal, place her in a classic interior with upholstered armchairs, patterned wallpaper, table lamps and a piano. She sits in the armchairs, reclines on a sofa, stands by the piano and appears in a gilded mirror, in a yellow satin blouse in several of the frames and in dark clothes in others.
